Don't Forget Me! Project
Mentor a Teen!
So many times, when people think of mentoring, they think about mentoring a small child. Many
times, teens are put second on the list when it comes to assistance, adoption, and mentoring programs. The
Don't Forget Me! Project encourages adults to mentor teens (13-18 years old). This project advocates: Get out there
and find a teen that needs YOU!
As a junior high teacher, I see teens everyday that have bad home lives, and teens who do
not know where to turn. Even teens from good families need role models to talk to about issues like homework,
depression, peer pressure, goals, etc. I hope that this site encourages you to be a mentor to a teen.
